RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- A target of the Northern Nevada Repeat Offender Program was sentenced to 5-20 years in prison after burglarizing a business.

Sgt. Paul Sevcsik with the Repeat Offender Program says 45-year-old John Wehr was sentenced Apr. 3, 2013. Wehr was found guilty of burglarizing Peerless Cleaners on May 28, 2012. Wehr had three prior felony convictions and a criminal history spanning 26 years. He also had multiple misdemeanor convictions, Sevcsik says.

Police say a surveillance video clearly showed Wehr breaking the window and entering Peerless Cleaners, making it easy for them to identify him. Wehr also had some distinctive clothing and tattoos.
