By even considering this demand the US Government is admitting there IS a Registry of Gun Owners, which they've been denying since the beginning of the Background Checks. Since this "Registry" doesn't officially exist, this should be a non-issue,except for the fact that our Government lies to us and we can't trust them as far as we can throw them.

Lets follow the Swiss model and create state militias in the border states where ALL households with a male over 20 years old will have an fully automatic military rifle and supporting equipment at the ready to quickly act in repeling intruders into our country. Then the mexicans won't need a list, they can assume EVERYONE is armed and prepared to defend their country against all enemies foreign and domestic. mexican gov't officials are completely cartel owned. One of the most corrupt governments in the western hemisphere along with Hugo further south.

Well they can always give us a list of their registered gun owners. Then we will take it and process it over the next 3 years before maybe showing them ours. As if!

I have a better idea, how about MEXICO mind it's own business and take care of their own problems! Like drug cartels, mass killings, illegals that run freely along the border, taxes, smog, unemployment, just to name a few. If MEXICO stopped the drug cartels and illegals, how much would this solve America's problems, about 90% in the border states.
