Missing 12-year-old girl sought, possibly in Reno-Sparks

MINDEN, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating a runaway juvenile.

According to a press release, 12-year-old Cara Breann Valerie (Valerie is her last name) ran away from her grandparents' home in Minden on June 21.

Cara is believed to have run away to the Reno/Sparks area. Cara may possibly be in the company of an unknown age male, named Samson Martinez.

Cara is described as:
  • Female
  • Caucasian
  • Brown, shoulder-length, straight hair
  • Blue eyes
  • Approximately 4-0 tall and 80 pounds
Cara was last known to be wearing a white tank top, jean shorts, and black shoes. She left the residence with a blue backpack.
