Missing MN man wanted for questioning found, arrested in Reno

RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- A missing Minnesota man wanted for questioning in an attempted murder investigation, has been arrested in Reno.

Cloquet Minnesota Police say John Bemis III went missing two days after his ex-wife Marie Majerle was charged with attempted homicide for shooting her estranged husband.

Reno Police say Bemis was arrested in Reno on Jun. 14 on an outstanding warrant. They say Bemis waived extradition yesterday. Now, Cloquet Police have 14 days to come and get him or he will be released.

Cloquet Police say Bemis is not considered a suspect at this time in the Majerle case.
