RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- South Jordan Police Department in Utah believes a missing Utah child might be in the Reno area.
On January 23, 2013 the South Jordan Police Department in Utah began the investigation, and it is now believed that the child is with her biological mother, possibly in the Reno area.
The missing child is six-year-old Kassidy Nelson, who was last seen wearing a multi-colored striped fleece jacket, a yellow bumblebee shirt, black pajama pants, and no shoes.
The two people police consider of interest in this case are Elliott Sunshine Proctor and his girlfriend Megan Kendra Boynton, the missing child's biological mother. Proctor is 34, 6'1 and said to weigh 140 pounds. He has short, brown hair and blue eyes. Boynton is 25, 5'3 and about 100 pounds. She is described as having short, black spiked hair and blue eyes, with tattoos on her left arm. Police say the persons of interest were last seen driving a late 1990s Chevrolet pickup with a shell, and could be staying in weekly motels. The two people of interest also have a history of drug abuse, according to police. Police say they do not have the resources to provide for Kassidy for an extended period of time.
