RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNew4.com)-- Advanced Auto Parts Monster Jam is crashing into the Biggest Little City for the weekend.

Six monster trucks that tip the scales at 10,000 pounds will be in four shows over the three day event that kicks off Friday evening.

Each show will have racing, freestyle, stunts you name it.

News 4 met two of the drivers Friday morning in a behind the scenes sneak peek of the show. Nicole Johnson from Nevada is going to be hitting the dirt driving a crowd favorite Scooby Doo.

"Everybody instantly connects with him," Johnson says.

Each truck has 1500 horse power and will be going off of 9 ft. ramps and clearing nearly 50 ft. gaps.

Scott Heaton has been an event announcer for Monster Jam the last 17 years and says the freestyle part of each show is what really gets fans out of their seats.

On Saturday fans have a chance to meet the drivers as well at the Pit Party that starts at 11:30 a.m. and goes until 1 p.m.

Tickets are $22 for adults and $10 for kids (2-12),

Doors typically open about an hour before the show starts.

Friday 7:30 p.m.

Saturday 2 p.m. , 7:30 p.m.

Sunday 2 p.m.
