RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- After Carl "Wayne" Smith's Feb. 5 arrest, Washoe County Sheriff's Office is reporting three other victims have come forward alleging inappropriate sexual contact with Smith.

One of the three female juvenile victims was only 15-years-old at the time she met Smith.

The Sheriff’s Crimes versus Children Unit seeks information on anyone who might have been victimized by Smith. WCSO says Smith allegedly provided trips and gifts for underage girls in exchange for his sexual gratification.

On Thursday, February 14, 2013, Sheriff's Detectives charged Smith with three additional counts of Luring a Child as well as three additional counts of Open and Gross Lewdness. As a result of the other offenses, Smith remains in the Washoe County Sheriff's Office Detention Facility with a revised bail set at $97,500.

Sheriff's Detectives believe Smith may have victimized other juvenile females that live in the area. These people, parents or acquaintances are urged to contact Detective Liles immediately at 775-328-3327. Victim Advocate services will be made available upon request.

Anyone having information relating to this crime or the suspect(s) should contact the Washoe County Sheriff's Office at (775) 328-3320, Secret Witness at (775) 322-4900, www.secretwitness.com, or text the tip to 847411 (TIP 411) keyword - SW.

Smith was arrested without incident in 600 block of Spice Island Drive in Sparks, Nevada on Feb. 5. Two female juveniles had reported in Dec. 2012 that Smith had touched them inappropriately. Detectives also learned that Smith purported to be the uncle to one of the girls if ever questioned by the other parents as to his identity.

More victims? Of course. Many people, kids included, don't know what to do, who to call, when victimized.

Got one living across the street in Carson City that likes to watch the school kids walk back and forth to their bus. PD doesn't want to do anything about him.
