RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Fog caused pileups earlier this morning on major highways in our area.

According to Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Mike Edgell, between 7-10AM this morning there were five crashes.

It was a chain reaction accident on 395 north near Glendale, where three lanes of traffic were closed for about twenty minutes. No one was injured. NHP warns drivers to use caution when driving in icy and foggy conditions, and to take it slow.

I guess when it comes to driving, there are SO many folks out there in SUCH a big hurry, that when common sense says you should slow down and take your time ... maybe even NOT use the freeway if you don't have to, people think they can survive their defiance unscathed!! Seriously ... common sense is the utmost survival tool in driving in this day and age. If you don't have it or respect for it .... PLEASE stay off the roads I'm driving on!!
