RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Truckee Meadows Habitat for Humanity is hosting their second annual Murder Mystery Event to raise money to build homes for local low income families. At the Wilbur D. May Museum on October 19th at 6pm attendees will get to try their hand at being a detective. The evening includes a theatrical production put on by local actors as well as appetizers, cocktails and silent auction will prove to be a thoroughly entertaining evening. All of the proceeds from the event will go directly to Habitat for Humanity to help build homes for local, low income families.
Habitat for Humanity was established in Reno in 1991 and has built 27 homes for local families. This non-profit organization relies on donations and volunteers to help build a future for struggling families. Habitat for Humanity just finished two homes and is at the foundation stage of two more.
