RENO, Nev. ( & KRNV) -- A special concert will be held July 3 to benefit and support the victims of violence in our community.

The proceeds from this concert will support the emotional, spiritual and advocacy ministries for our Washoe County families surviving traumatic acts of violence. Last week, we saw four homicides in
Washoe County. Several survivor family members from this past year will be our founding members. The Northern Nevada Crime Victims Center will provide long term coping resources for the survivors in
our communities

The concert will feature a unique, African-American female gospel trio as well as the Black Rock City All Stars. It all happens at seven p.m. July 3 and runs until ten p.m. at the "Project solutions" auditorium at 1090 Bresson Street in Reno, located next to Vaughn Middle School.

Tickets are $20 for adults, and $5 for youth. For more information contact Rev. Howard Dotson at
