UPDATE: 11:25AM - The ramp has been reopened.
Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) is closing the I-580 Southbound off-ramp from I-80 Eastbound for 30 minutes starting at around 11 a.m. this morning.
NDOT is replacing a light arm that needed to be removed immediately. According to Scott McGruder with NDOT, it will be fixed at a later date.
NDOT is recommending that motorists take the 4th Street exit (heading eastbound) and get back onto I-80 westbound from 4th Street to access the southbound I-580 on-ramp.
