CARSON CITY, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) - The Nevada State Education Association is releasing their legislative priorities for this upcoming session. At the top is a new controversial petition to increase funding by adding to the margins tax. In addition, they want to see more professional development, a stronger focus on teaching English in early grade levels and smaller class sizes.

“I teach 4th grade when class size gets over 30, creeping up to 35 40 kids in the classroom, I’m unable to meet all their needs,” NSEA President Lynn Warne said.
