RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- NV Energy is being fined $43,000 after an investigation into the deadly fall of a 29-year-old employee in September.

The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration has charged the utility company with six violations including failure to provide a safe working environment for employees.

Herbie Depsey Goforth III fell 100 feet from a utility tower near Apex Industrial Park. NV Energy claims they have received the citations, and are committed to workplace safety.
