CARSON CITY, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- "Why is Nevada in hot water?" The Nevada State Museum is trying to answer that question in their lecture series today.

The lecture focuses on tectonic controls and geothermal activity including an explanation of how scientists look at faults and stress conditions to determine where to drill.
