LINCOLN COUNTY, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- If SB 501 is passed, the state health agency will send inspectors to the Scientology Narconon drug rehab center in Lincoln County to license and regulate the facility, according to the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services.

SB 501 is "an act relating to substance abuse; transferring certain powers and duties from the Division of Mental Health and
Developmental Services of the Department of Health and Human Services to the Health Division of the Department of Health and Human Services." SB 501 also says any detox technician, facility or program that is not certified is ineligible to receive state and federal money for alcohol and drug abuse programs.

They say there are other facilities that they are aware of that they would need to license and regulate as well if the bill is adopted.

If the Scientology Narconon drug rehab center does not comply with the license and regulations, the state health agency says they will take them down the unlicensed facility path.

Yeah! About time! Ask them to demonstrate cause over an ashtray while the inspector is there. That ought to help get people off of drugs. Scientology is dangerous. Narconon IS Scientology!
