Updated flood levels, according to the National Weather Service.
As of 10:35am, snow levels are falling in the Northern Sierra as a cold front moves through the area. However, small creeks and streams are still rising this morning. Creeks and streams will begin to recede by early this afternoon as heavy precipitation moves south of the area.
The flood warning remains in effect until 5:15pm today for small streams in the Lake Tahoe Basin, Western Lassen, Eastern Plumas and Eastern Sierra Counties.
-Donner Creek is near flood stage with very high flows on several creeks along the west side of the Lake Tahoe Basin.
-Rock slides have also been reported at Hwy 89 near Emerald Bay and along Interstate 80 near Floriston.
-Flooding is occurring along the Susan River in Susanville, where a river flood warning remains in effect.
