RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) – The Nevada Kick Start Program is set to launch in Washoe County Monday.

The program aims to improve Nevada's college graduation rate by starting a college savings account with $50 for kindergarten students in the Pilot Program area.

Monday, November 4th at 6pm, State Treasurer Kate Marshall will attend a family college night at the Boys and Girls Club of Truckee Meadows where parents can learn about the Kick Start Program.
