38 war veterans made the trip of a lifetime to Washington D.C. this weekend to see the memorials erected in their honor. Watch their stories right here on News 4 throughout the week.

Washington D.C. is filled with monuments to the men and women who fought for our country, but many veterans never have a chance to see them first hand. So Honor Flight Nevada is taking some local veterans to the capitol for free.

Honor Flight Nevada is a non-profit organization that uses public donations to send veterans to Washington D.C. to see their memorials at no cost to the veterans.
