Reno, NV (KRNV & The Nevada Military Support Alliance is a civilian-led effort to provide various support services to members of the military, and to military organizations within the state.

In an effort, to become even more effective in their mission the alliance is joining forces with the Beale Military Liaison Committee in California.

Members of the Nevada Military Support Alliance traveled to Beale Air Force Base near Marysville, California to share their ideas and also gain insight into the efforts being made for Nevada and California Veterans.

Ron Bartoli, Chairman of the Beale Military Liaison Committee says it's all about working together.

57 Nevada Patriots have been killed in the War On Terror. To date, more than a million dollars have been provided in financial support to the families of those heroes thanks to the Nevada Military Support Alliance.

At a time when service men and woman are returning home from war and met with  record delays for services and much needed medical care, the alliance is  prepared to step in.

Chairman of the Alliance, Perry Di Loreto says he wants our heroes to  know that the people at home really do care.

According to the center for investigative reporting, nearly 250,000 Veterans wait more than a year for their medical claims to wind through the Veterans Administration before receiving their earned benefits.

Both the Alliance and the Committee are making strides to ensure that our Veterans and their families are taken care of.

Reno Mayor Bob Cashell was also a part of the collaboration and believes the people of the Beale Committee will be great partners to work with.
