Bear hunting should be banned in Nevada. Killing this species for sport is the wrong thing to do. We should be teaching conservation of animals when hunting is for sport only and not for food. Bears are so much like people, in their mannerisms and personalities, and they contribute good things to our lives. In return, we should respect their lives and not allow hunting at all. I'm a hunter and have even tried bear meat when I was young. My father shot a bear at a camp in Idaho that was digging up trash and I skinned it out myself. If that bear had not been shot, there would be many more bears in that area of the forest now. That's the way it should be.
