RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Between now and April 20th, Nevada law enforcement teams will be cracking down on distracted drivers throughout the state.

Nevada law clearly states that any use of a handheld electronic device such as a cell phone, mp3 player or gps device while driving is illegal, and offenders will be pulled over and cited.

Nevada's ban went into effect in January of 2012 and law enforcement continues to spot and cite offenders every day.
