RENO, Nev. (Mynews4.com & KRNV) -- Average weekly wages in the Silver State have hit another record high.

In 2013, reports showed people made on average $849 per week over the course of the year. This is up 1.1 percent from the $839 people made in 2012. A chief economist for the state says while wages have been on the rise in nominal terms, recent gains have struggled to keep up with inflation.
