RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- High school students 'Live to Serve' during Nevada's 85th Annual FFA Convention. The theme of this year's convention was Ride Your Dreams.

During the event, more than 50 young scholars assembled boxes of food for the Emergency Food Assistance Program. Josie Moore spoke about giving back. "It just puts things in perspective about how much we need to give back to the community. We've been so fortunate in a lot of things. It's pretty cool."

Students also attended workshops about how they can create similar projects in their communities.
