RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- The outgoing Reno City Council approved a $30 million refinancing deal to help pay off the construction loan that built the Aces Ballpark. Now the new city council, who has to find the money to make that happen, is diving into the agreement to make sure they're up to speed. At a special meeting tonight, they heard from the city attorney's office and the city manager's office, as well as the public.
We have also learned Pacific Coast League officials wrote a letter to Reno Mayor Bob Cashell saying the Aces can leave Reno if the council does not approve the $30 million dollar deal. This issue will come before the council next week.
