PHOENIX, Ariz. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- The Veteran's Administration's newly-confirmed Secretary visited the Phoenix hospital that was at the center of the agency's recent scandal.
Robert McDonald met with patients and their families, as well as administration and staff at the V.A. Medical Center. He promised to address the lack of oversight that led to long wait times and inadequate care for veterans.
McDonald said the agency will be reorganized to provide accountability and efficiency.
