New bill proposal demanding criminal records of those working with elderly be released

The Senate Judiciary Committee takes up a bill today that would release the criminal records of current and prospective employees or volunteers working with the elderly or the disabled in Nevada.

Proposed legislation should also include ARREST RECORDS since so many things are bargained out or dropped for other considerations such as limited court time. While an arrest does not carry the weight of a conviction, the details could be used to invalidate poor applications.
