DAYTON, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) - Lyon County investigators could use your help.  They're still looking for leads to solve a series of tire slashings that have happened on two different nights in two separate neighborhoods.  The first happened in the Dayton Village area where dozens of vehicles had tires punctured and paint on vehicles keyed.  The most recent happened last Tuesday night in the Riverpark area where the homes of law enforcement officers from three different agencies were targeted.

Salon Tart owner, Brieanna Wilson said; "I was just fit to be tied when I woke up and walked out that morning to see my poor neighbor with his car and all the law enforcement around the corner.  It's not ok."

Wilson has put up a reward.  It is a year's worth of free beauty services for information leading to an arrest.  Wilson said; "We're not trying to profile but, if it's a young man, maybe his girlfriend will turn him in cause like we've kind of said, you're going to need a new boyfriend when he goes to jail so you might as well gets some highlights out of it."

Just next door at the Dayton Coldwell Banker Real Estate office, the emotions are similar with agreement that residents are frustrated.  Barbe Seal said; "They're not happy that whoever did it has not been found.  I think some people are afraid it is going to continue."

Residents are planning to establish a neighborhood watch as a result of the slashings.  Real Estate broker Jody Foley said; "I think it is a good idea.  The more eyes and ears out there, the better.  It will be good for any neighborhood."

The meeting to establish a neighborhood watch is set for Wednesday, November 13 at 6:30 PM at the Tuff Luck Ranch at 175 River Road in Dayton.

Get home video survielance cameras. Especially the houses at street entrances to see who comes and goes. You'd be surprised who's cruising, both on foot and in vehicles, in your neighborhood. Many that have no Legit business being there. My neighbor across the street HATES mine. Cut into his illegal business a lot. Not so many scumbags on the street anymore and the parents and kids love it.
