Reno, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- ‘Nowhere Nevada’, the 100% northern Nevada produced movie highlighting underground music and local talent, has just been awarded the Runner-up Award for Best Crime Drama from the Indie International Film Festival, of Hudson, Ohio, according to a press release sent by Brian L. Sutherland.

“It is enormously satisfying to be validated by external, objective parties,” said Sutherland, Executive Producer of Nowhere Nevada. “As this film festival circuit gets in full-swing, it’s very nice to be included in each festival, and every award we receive.”

This festival is the alternative for independent, underground and experimental film and video. The "Indie" Gathering Film Festival exists to showcase the independent filmmaker. Filmmakers participate in their screenings and after speak with audience members who might be seeking a closer look into the creative process.
