LAS VEGAS (AP) — President Barack Obama is traveling to Las Vegas to lay out his vision for comprehensive immigration legislation.

He is expected to speak shortly before noon at Del Sol High School Tuesday. It is the first trip of his second term.

Latinos now make up more than a quarter of the population of Nevada. They voted for Obama by a 2-to-1 margin last fall.

A 2011 Pew Hispanic Center study found that illegal immigrants account for 7.2 percent of Nevada residents. That's a larger portion than any other state.

Illegal immigrants also play a large role in Nevada's economy, which is driven in part by the construction and hospitality trades. The Pew study found that 10 percent of the state's workforce is unauthorized.

We need to send all the Illegal Aliens back, and keep them out until they can enter LEGALLY. They are Criminals and should be treated as such. Otherwise, with Illegal entry into the US and the related illegalities they commit while living here,I believe they set a precedent that might be used in other cases,so we have to allow any other similar Criminals to go un-punished as well,or fight it in Court.
