Las Vegas, NV (KRNV & MyNews4.com)--- The Nevada Department of Corrections reports that an inmate's death is under investigation after he was found deceased in his single cell.
In a press release from the Department of Corrections, officials announced that inmate John Biasi was found deceased at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, November 16th.
Biasi was 55 years old and serving a sentence of 10 to 25 years in prison for second degree murder, with a second consecutive term of 5 to 15 years for use of a deadly weapon. He had been in custody since November 2011.
His death is unknown and is still under investigation.
