Officials respond to structure fire in Sun Valley

SUN VALLEY, Nev. ( & KRNV) -- Officials are responding to a structure fire on 8th Street in Sun Valley.

When fire fighters arrived they found a fire in back bedroom of a duplex. Initial reports say that a woman was trapped inside the building, but managed to bail out the back window. All of the animals in the building were able to escape when firefighters made a rescue attempt.

The Woman is now being treated for smoking inhalation and the fire has been put out, according to officials.

considering those duplexes are extremely old and decrepit, I am surprised they haven't burned before this. And then there is other obvious reasons

How are all these house fires starting in the summer time? Portable heaters and Christmas trees in the winter time are obvious. Something smells here and it isn't smoke.
