The off-duty cop probably wasn't armed, so wasn't in a position to stop the robbery. The article didn't specify. Again, the cops got the perp, regardless of the grammar. More kudos to the cops.

"after suffering a gunshot wound". No 'from' needed here (kinda obvious)- in case there's a lack of some sort of college degree or if U haven't read anything resembling a real newspaper. EDIT

I apologize, you're right. Lets just stick with "No Robberies Allowed" signs.

If you don't think one sign will stop guns from coming in then lets make banks gun free zones. That will solve the problem for sure. I'll write a law and send it to Harry Reid. "No guns allowed within 100 yards of a bank". There, that will stop the bad guys.

Ruserious, don't the liberals and democrats use tragedy to press a political point all the time?

Hey look, the bad guy didn't disarm when he entered the bank. Maybe we shouldn't be demanding that good law abiding citizens are helpless and defenseless when inside banks? Nah, lets just irrationally fear guns and think we're safe in a "No firearms" zone...
