FALLON, NV (Mynews4.com & KRNV)- Patty Olson tells News 4 her brother Harvey Olson LaRoque, died from injuries sustained when he was attacked at the Overland Hotel and Saloon in Fallon, Nevada. Olson says the attack occurred just before midnight on January 22, 2012. Her brother was transported to a Reno hospital and placed on life support. On Friday, February 3, 2012, the family made the decision to remove LaRoque from life support.

But LaRoque was not the only alleged victim in this incident. Rick and Linda Johnson also were attacked, according to Linda.

Kevin Travis, 52, and Levi Travis, 20, were taken into custody following the incident, but have since posted more than $100,000 bond combined.

Linda says including herself there were six people in the bar that night, her husband Rick, Harvey, Kevin and Levi Travis and a bartender.

Churchill County Deputy District Attorney Robert Erquiaga says their office has yet to file charges. A preliminary hearing has been continued until May 21, 2012. The DA office is also awaiting results of an autopsy report, which Erquiaga says could take weeks.

Harvey was a good man and I am proud to call him a true friend. He will definitely be missed. I completely agree those two low life's need to be brought to justice. I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact that I will no longer see my friends face or hear his wonderful laugh again. However I have a comment for news 4. Could it be possible to find a different photo of Harvey? The one you have is quite upsetting to see him in that condition. I want to remember him smiling with his cowboy hat on.

Another case of swift justice I see. Not sure why murder cases seem to take so long when you have 6 eye witnesses and evidence. I feel for the friends and family who survived and hope they can cope with this tragic loss. I also pray that justice is found and the law takes care of the matter proper. I hope people can see this story and understand it's not the wild west anymore, even if the place is a saloon. We don't murder people in cold blood. Spill a drink on them, talk trash, push em around in the parking lot but never ever resort to murder or real physical violence. When did common sense become so rare?
