RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) - There is new information on a fire that damaged two local businesses late last night.

Reno Fire Department Chief Battalion Bob Knoll says around 11pm, crews arrived to the corner of Vassar Street and Wells Avenue and saw dark black smoke coming out of an auto detailing shop as well as a dress shop.

Knoll says they had to use a rotary saw to cut through the locks. When they got the doors open, he says there were two cars on fire.

Knoll says no one was hurt and they are still investigating how the fire started. He also says the two shops are owned by the same family.
