RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- What began as an agreement between the City of Reno and an ouisde company to re-vamp downtown parking, turned into a huge mess and back and forth blame game.
Today the contract between the city and curb systems is expected to end in form of a settlement at the Reno City Council Meeting.
The state of the art kiosks were taken down months ago after city leaders claim curb systems failed to keep up with their end of the agreement, falling behind on getting machines operational and processing fines. This caused projected revenues to miss their mark by some $800,000.
If approved, the action will release both parties of the contract.
