Peppermill hosting poker tournament to benefit Humane Society G.I. DOGS

RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- The Peppermill Resort and Casino is hosting a Texas Hold’em Charity Poker Tournament on Thursday, Nov. 29 at 7:00 pm, which will benefit Nevada Humane Society’s G.I. DOGS Program.

The G.I. DOGS Program transforms abandoned animals into service dogs and pets for free for military veterans.

There will be a $50 entry fee to the cash prize pool for the players, along with the option of purchasing $20 chip re-buys. There is also a final $20 chip add-on. All re-buy and add-on proceeds will directly benefit G.I. DOGS. Participants making the final $20 add-on will also receive a commemorative card cap medallion for free.
