RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Because new phone books were still being delivered in many areas last week, Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful's 22nd annual Phone Book Recycling Program has been extended for Washoe County residents through Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013.
In addition to the municipal locations, phone books can be recycled at area Scolari’s and Waste Management Recycle America stations.
Unused phone books can also be recycled curbside where curbside recycling is provided, and residents are encouraged to opt-out of receiving phone books they no longer want by visiting
https://www.yellowpagesoptout.com/ or calling (800) 953-4400.
