RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- A Silver Dodge Pickup Truck ran into the left side of a Nevada Highway Patrol (NHP) attending to an accident, on I-580 near the I-80 exit this morning.
The NHP Trooper was assisting with an accident at the scene and pulled over to the right hand shoulder. The Dodge pickup truck lost control of the vehicle and hit the left side of the patrol car. No one was injured, including the NHP Trooper, who was standing behind his vehicle at the time of the accident.
Two travel lanes are currently blocked while Troopers are on the scene investigating the accident.
