CARSON CITY, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- Investigators say a 1946 Cessna that crashed almost two weeks ago in Pinion Hills showed no signs of mechanical problems.

The National Transportation Safety Board released its report this week. The crash killed Joseph Miceli of Wellington, and happened between March 8 and March 9, just a few miles southeast of Carson City.

The NTSB report says Miceli took off from Smith Valley to Carson City to do some shopping. Miceli did have a flight instructor certificate, and he had a total flight experience of 4,900 hours.
