Reno, Nev (KRNV & MyNews4.com) – The Reno Police Department have arrested 36-year-old Daniel Marvin Morse on two counts of armed robbery and one count of attempted armed robbery.

Police say Morse went on a pizza-related robbery spree starting April 16, 2012 when he allegedly robbed a Domino’s Pizza delivery driver on Gentry Way in Reno. Police say a brief conversation, Morse apologized to the driver saying he needed to take care of his family. He then showed a black handgun and robbed the driver of $150 in cash, credit cards slip and the pizza.

Four days later on Friday, April 20, 2012 police say Morse placed an order at the Pizza Hut on 6015 S. Virginia Street in Reno. He then left the store, but returned approximately ten minutes later and demanded money from an employee at gunpoint. Morse allegedly got away with less than $40.

The following day police say Morse tried to rob the Papa Murphy’s Pizza at 940 W. Moana Lane. Even thought Morse allegedly showed a handgun and demanded money, the employee did not give him the money and then Morse left the store.

Reno Police believe the handgun used in all robberies was a bb gun.

Morse was also arrested on three unrelated misdemeanor warrants.
