Sparks, Nev (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Police are investigating after reports of shots fired near McCarran Boulevard.

At about 3:30 am on August 19th, Sparks PD responded to reports of shots fired near Terrible's Gas Station on 350 North McCarran Boulevard. When they arrived, they found multiple used bullet shells. Video footage of the area shows two vehicles entering the gas station's lot, a white sedan of unknown make and what appears to be a red Dodge sedan.  In footage, the drivers of each car appear to get into an arguement, which ends when the driver of the white sedan grabs a handgun from his car and fires shots at the red Dodge.

Police are unsure if anyone was injured in the shooting, as both cars quickly left the scene.

If anyone has information regarding this incident, they are asked to contact Sparks Police detectives at 353-2225 or Secret Witness at 322-4900. There is a $500 reward being offered for information leading to arrest.

The NRA wants us to be able to defend ourselves against criminals! Take my guns away? Might as well ban knives too... Seems we have more stabbing injuries in Reno then shootings... After banning guns & knives, we can start making everyone use sporks and ban forks too! Anything can be used as a weapon.. I got big truck, don't think I won't run you over a few times if I feel I am in imminent danger.
