Police look for man who attempted to rob Kings Beach liquor store

KINGS BEACH, Calif. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Placer County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man who attempted to rob a Kings Beach liquor store.

On Saturday, Dec. 30 at around 9:10pm, an armed robber entered Kings Beach Liquor store at 8645 N. Lake Blvd. in attempt to rob the store, according to Placer County Sheriffs. The suspect did not complete the robbery and fled on foot. The suspect concealed his identity leaving only his eyes visible.

The suspect is described as male, approximately six feet tall and weighs about 180 lbs. The suspect was wearing dark clothing.

The weapon is believed to be a handgun, possibly a revolver. Polie say this crime may be related to a similar robbery on Wednesday Jan. 2 in Incline Village. The Placer County Sheriff’s Office is working with the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office and the investigation is ongoing.
