RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Police are looking for a man who abandoned his vehicle after a high speed chase around 5:30pm.
Nevada Highway Patrol says they were pulling over a man for speeding at Kietzke Lane and Galletti Way when he took off and got on the freeway. NHP lost him at the Robb Drive exit.
His vehicle was found at Nugget Avenue and Industrial Way. Sparks Police and Washoe County are assisting and have employed helicopters in the search.
The suspect is a white male in a grey sweatshirt.
