Police looking for suspect who left man with serious stab wounds

SPARKS, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Sparks Police are looking for the suspect who left a man with serious stab wounds.

This morning around 7:15, Sparks Police Department received a call of a man yelling for help. Witnesses say a male who was bleeding was leaving in a vehicle. The vehicle was stopped by Sparks Police near the intersection of El Rancho Boulevard and D Street in Sparks.

Officers say the victim was in the car and had been stabbed in the rear torso area with the appearance of a serious injury. The victim was transported to Renown Medical Center by REMSA where he is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say a male adult was driving the victim to the hospital. This subject along with witnesses from the scene were transported to the Sparks Police Department for interviews. At this time, the stabbing appears to be domestic related and there are no outstanding suspects.

Sparks Police say a third person may have helped the victim to his car immediately after the stabbing. Sparks Police Detectives would like to speak with this person.
