SPANISH SPRINGS, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- The search is on for a man involved in a shooting that left another man in critical condition.

Investigators say 19-year old Brandon Moore-Montgomery is still on the loose after opening fire during a domestic dispute in Spanish Springs on Thursday. It happened just after 9:30 p.m., on Jenere Court near David James Boulevard. The teenager immediately took off in an older model Chevy Blazer after firing several shots, hitting the victim at least once.

Officials would not release the exact connection between the suspect and the victim, saying that the two knew each other. The victim was taken to the hospital with severe injuries, and at last check, was in critical condition.

Meanwhile, the suspect may still be armed, and agencies throughout the region are asking for the public's help in tracking him down. "It is very possible that he is still armed, and it's our job to locate him as quickly as possible," said Washoe County Sheriff Public Information Officer Bob Harmon. "Again we've given out a description of the suspect and his vehicle."

Moore-Montgomery is 5-9, 150 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes. He was last seen driving a 1991 white Chevy Blazer with Nevada license plate number 836 NVN. If you spot him, please call Secret Witness at 322-4900.
