Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) – A Nevada Capitol Police Sergeant who was fired for sexual harassment will not get his job back.

A Nevada State Hearing Officer upheld the firing of Edward Rubio for harassment directed at Alice Valdez who was hired to work at the Governor's Mansion in 2010. The Hearing Officer released the decision Saturday.

According to the Las Vegas Review Journal, Rubio also permitted two other officers to sexually harass Valdez. Rubio failed to act on the complaints and was subsequently fired.
