SPARKS, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- A number of News 4 viewers reached out to our newsroom just after 5 p.m. on Wednesday about a possible raid in progress.

Law enforcement could be seen investigating The Hippie Store at 1945 Prater Way in Sparks. The lead agency could not release any information, because the bust is part of an ongoing investigation.

What we do know is items from the store were put into evidence boxes labeled "DEA", and authorities on scene were wearing badges belonging to the Drug Enforcement Administration.

News 4 will continue to follow this developing story.

The DEA needs to be dismantled. I have 4 different conditions that cause me daily pain and because of the DEA and their actions in Nevada I can NOT get proper pain relief. Of course this is exactly what they're after. To cause patients to go to the under ground drug dealers in search of better pain relief. Then the DEA shows up and arrests everyone. Seems they just love causing patients more pain and ruining peoples lives. They have been in most of Nevada's pain doctors offices and have told them that they can't prescribe both narcotic medication along with medical marijuana. Well, sorry DEA I need both to control my horrendous pain that I have daily. Doesn't matter if you agree with it or not. I'm going to do what I need to in order to get the relief from this pain because if I don't I will end up killing myself not being able to stand it any longer. Of course the DEA doesn't care about me either. Part of population control? One way to get rid of the old sick people so we don't cost Obamacare too much? We need to get rid of the DEA. All they do is destroy people's lives!
