Possible health risk for pregnant women using e-cigarettes

RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- Battery-powered devices known as E-cigarettes produce doses of vaporized nicotine that are inhaled, and many people are using them as an alternative to smoking cigarettes.

Health officials say E-cigarettes are promoted as cessation devices, even though they are not federally regulated. They also say pregnant women may think using ones that claim to be nicotine-free is okay, but that enough information is not available to know of any hidden toxins.
