Possible suspect identified in south Reno's sexual assault

RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Reno Police have identified a possible suspect in the sexual assault that took place near Veterans Parkway and Wind Walker Drive.

Due to the scope and nature of this investigation, Reno Police are withholding the name of the suspect.

The suspect's last known location is outside of the Reno-Sparks area. The suspect is said to be a Hispanic male in his early 30s, 5'5"-5'8" with dark skin and thin features. He was clean shaven, had short dark hair and was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and dark pants.

The assault took place around 8:20 on the night of Sept. 16. A 37-year-old woman was jogging when she was attacked and sexually assaulted. If you have any additional information, call Secret Witness at 322-4900.
