Reno, Nev (KNRV & MyNews4.com) -- A power outage has left roughly 1,000 different Sierra Pacific energy customers without power.
Starting at around 5:50 p.m. on October 20th, 2012, power was lost the area between Vassar and Mill street in downtown Reno near Kietzke lane, as well as parts of the Sparks industrial sector.
Sierra Pacific energy officials say they have crews on scene working to fix the power issue as quickly as possible. It is unknown what caused the outage at this time.
